Prepare the right questions.

Start by selecting where you or your company are based. This does not determine where you will protect or sell your technology.
Select a country directly on the globe to continue.
Look up the publication or its local family member. Check the owner, latest register entry and date.
For a direct filing, consult the national legislation and confirm current forms and fees with the office. For an international application, check the PCT guide for the available route, language and fee instructions.

One useful question at a time. Your answers shape a working brief you can take to a specialist.
Now that your diagnostic is complete, explore official updates for your country and technical field. This is an optional research step, not a patent clearance.

Your location comes from the globe. Jurisdiction and sector tags are based on the issuing office and on explicit wording in official feed extracts. They do not determine whether a law applies to you. Unclassified items remain available under “All sectors”.
Original headlines are collected automatically. When available, Mistral provides an English title and a short summary based only on the title and feed excerpt, not the full article. AI summaries may contain errors and are labelled. The original reference and publisher excerpt remain available in each preview. Entries awaiting a summary use the source excerpt or a document-type explanation. Search covers titles, summaries, source names and references in the currently loaded collection (up to 90 days); it is not a search of all patent databases. The overview balances categories; category filters list entries by date. Categories describe the source or document type, not a legal assessment. A policy announcement is not proof that a rule is in force; a registration filing is not a completed IPO; a patent application is not a granted patent. Sources may publish less often than daily. Coverage is selective and does not cover every jurisdiction.
Local country references are official navigation links, not live regulation feeds. An announcement or press release is not proof that a rule has entered into force. An empty feed does not mean there has been no legal change. The watch does not claim exhaustive coverage of 15 countries. Patent-office announcements do not substitute for monitoring actual patent publications. No AI rewriting, audience tracking or paid news API is used for this desk.

Enter your own estimates or quotations in one currency. This worksheet totals them; it does not estimate official fees.
Add estimates above. Taxes, additional claims and future costs may require separate provision.
Official offices, national patent searches, filing fees, legislation and PCT chapters for all 15 supported markets. Pick another country at any time.
No resource matches this search. Try another country or keyword.
National resources are official links, not live legal advice. WIPO Lex often hosts an older consolidated edition; check the latest law, procedures and tariffs with the local office. Regional and PCT routes are additional to national rights.
Patent information is scattered across national offices. Register your interest in a future watch covering the 15 supported markets and your selected technical fields.
Join the free launch list. You will receive a launch announcement and, once the watch starts, updates for your selected fields. The first send date and frequency are not fixed yet. This is not a legal monitoring or deadline-reminder service.
Illustrative topics only. This is not a live feed or a claim about a particular patent.
Patent Bridge is an independent project by Gabriel Lormeau. It combines guided project preparation with official patent resources and fee tools covering 15 major markets. The country onboarding accepts a wider range of locations, but detailed rules are not yet available for every country.
Organise your objective, questions and documents. The tools help you prepare, without deciding whether an invention is patentable or a product is free to operate.
Office procedures and fee schedules change. We link to official resources so you can verify current requirements. No fees or deadlines are calculated as a legal conclusion.
The guided project questions and downloadable working brief run in your browser. The sector watch is a launch list, not an active automated newsletter. AI-assisted drafts use a template if the service is unavailable.
No single patent grants worldwide protection. Patents are territorial. The PCT helps coordinate applications across countries; national or regional offices still decide on grant. WIPO’s PCT explanation ↗
They address different questions. Patentability concerns protection for an invention; a freedom-to-operate review considers relevant third-party rights for a specific product and market. A search or a patent of your own does not by itself clear a product for launch. Ask a qualified professional for an assessment.
The full navigator, project checklists, a budget worksheet, official-resource links and document preparation templates. You do not need to leave your email to use them.
The site records your email, consent and selected fields. You are joining the launch list for the sector watch; this does not create an account, start a paid plan or trigger an immediate patent report. Send timing will be announced when the watch is ready.
The navigator asks only general questions. Avoid confidential details in the draft assistant. If you choose AI-assisted drafting, the general route answers, published patent numbers and non-confidential purpose are sent to Mistral through our server after a separate agreement. Use the local template option to prepare a document in your browser without sending its fields to the AI service.

You do not need to know the whole patent system. Start with the decision in front of you.
Identify your filing questions, clarify the markets you care about and gather the information a patent professional will need.
